My week, in review. This is a short and sweet weekly update with ratings and blurb. If they are getting their own review, I’ll share it there!
FOUR Books this week…a little less than normal but still such a good week!
Physical Books
The Kingmaker and The Rebel King by Kennedy Ryan – 4/5 I read my first Kennedy Ryan books and I truly enjoyed them. There was a lot of research that went into these books and I really appreciated that. These are pretty political and do lean left as an FYI (you wouldn’t think that off the bat). Looking forward to the next ones!
Hang the Moon by Alexandria Bellefleur – 4.25/5 Light on plot but high on swoon and just delightful. Brendon was the most perfect ginger hero and the Seattle setting was wonderful!
E-Books
ARCs
Thanks to @netgalley and @sourcebookscasa for providing this e-arc in exchange for my honest opinion.
What If You & Me by Roni Loren – 4/5 I read Yes & I Love You in March and it was a surprise pick that ended up being one of my favorites of 2021. If you haven’t already, pick it up! Needless to say, I was super excited to find out there would be a second, Andi’s story, released on July 6th (I pre-ordered it right away)! I 100% read this within 24 hours of getting the approval and genuinely enjoyed reading it.
See you next week!
Love,
A
